OUR STORY
Established in 2003, we have years of working experience to keep your trees safe, healthy and suitable for the spaces they are in and have built trusting relationships with our clients. Over that time they have become friends.

Business owner Matthew Adams started Urban Tree Care with a focus on details that he was first taught through training and working within the arboriculture industry with respected and trusted major arboriculture contractors.
From there, Matthew has then developed upon these and moulded them in to our business touchstones that underlies the ethos, practices and delivery of our tree and outdoor environment service.
Here at Urban Tree Care our tree surgeons have been trained and passed NPTC and LANTRA assessments showing we are all competent to carry out any tree work operation working to British Standard guidelines set out in BS3998 and we use safety equipment to protect our clients, their property and ourselves. We have and work to a Health and Safety policy and are keeping up to date with the industry code of practice for tree work at heights.

Urban Tree Care we are covered by £5,000,000 public liability insurance and our staff are covered by £10,000,000 employee liability insurance giving peace of mind to our clients..
All our climbing ropes, harnesses, carabiners, strops, loops, cambium savers, pulleys and rope brakes are safety checked by a qualified LOLER and PUWER inspector and any equipment that doesn’t pass the inspection is removed from service and replaced.

Staff have all attended and passed an Arborist Specific First Aid Course providing them with the knowledge and information to help them correctly deal with an emergency situation and have emergency first aid equipment with them on every site we are working at and also carrying a full first aid kit in the work vehicle.
